UMWM
Małopolska is a strong economic hub and an excellent place for business development. The region is one of the most dynamically developing provinces on the economic map of Poland and Central Europe. Our region is open to investment and fosters a business-friendly climate for entrepreneurs and innovation implementation.
Małopolska is the only one among 300 European regions to have received the special distinction of European Entrepreneurial Region 2024 for its forward-looking vision of development and support for entrepreneurship. The award is the result of significant efforts by many regional institutions dedicated to strengthening the business and innovation potential of the region, as well as actions supporting cooperation with Ukrainian institutions and entrepreneurs in rebuilding Ukraine and supporting its European aspirations. Thanks to strong support for entrepreneurship, enhanced competitiveness, and the optimal use of EU funds and public resources, Małopolska clearly stands out among other provinces.
Małopolska 2030 Regional Development Strategy and the Małopolska Region Innovation Strategy 2030 are key documents that define the most important areas of regional development and strategic directions for the regional government and institutions in the region.
